My 2012 Chevy Cruze RS :)
Posted 08 November 2011 - 09:33 AM
I am new here, still have to post in the introduction forum but I wanted to show everyone my new cruze!
Have been looking around for a new car to get me back and forth to college and once I saw my 2012 Chevy Cruze RS in the chevy dealer's showroom, I couldn't resist.
First off, it is a 6-speed and prior to owning a car, I have never driven a manual in my life. Though, I really didn't care because I was determined and I wanted the car. The dealer that I went to tried to talk me into getting an automatic that was a 2011 Chevy Cruze in Blue. Though, that wasn't for me. So I ended up buying the Cruze, my dad had to drive it home. But! I learned how to drive the cruze in less than two days. I was amazed that I got it that fast but it was a piece of cake and I don't think that I have left my car since then!
I am planning on getting royal purple pin stripping against the curvature of the car. Along with matching royal purple emblems on the car. I also plan on getting the windows and tail lights tinted very soon. But, for now everything is stock.

Have an RS myself bought mine right off the showroom floor could not resist once I saw the car,I immediately knew the potential tunning power of this car just had to find a company that supported the right power upgrade, turbo cars like this one have big hidden power.I was right after some internet searching,a company called www.vtunerperformance.com pops up had the car tuned with their flash drive computer and the RS cruze went from stock 138hp to 170hp and to 175hp with the K&N intake system the torque went from stock 148lb-ft to 180lb-ft this made an enormous difference in the 0 to 60 time 8.5 sec stock down to 6.5 sec. tuned thru vtunerperformance the front tires will burn rubber if using full WOT this car now runs like a real true RS CHEVY,truly a great tuner car for so little money $499.00 NO DOWNPIPE NEEDED NO CAT BACK NEEDED NO OTHER AFTER MARKET PARTS NEEDED THE CRUZE HAS ALL THIS ALREADY.I had the stage 0 tune, there is a stage one which is more torque and horsepower and can bring this car into the low 5sec range and 14 sec 1/4 mile time,a little more money and well worth the price which I am saving for now, call (802)393-7305 ask for Brian Blair (President and owner) or www.vtunerperformance.com your cruze will thank you!!!

RS is only one of names using for this sport's package, the others names in the world are WTCC, Design, Sport etc.
Here we can get this even in HB version.
New RS is not in USA yet cause they still didn't get facelift too Cruze still
and this is facelift just for RS (has got grilles from postlift model).
Watch this, even "new" diesel version on american markets, has got old look.
Yanks are over 1,5 of year behind Europe with premieres, so i think they should get facelift in MY2014
or maybe they won't get it ever.
