I doubt if You can do that (theoretically is possible) , I don't think Chevrolet Europe will let the dealers do this.
They even do not upgrades of the navigation software (not the maps) of cd 500 system.

Is something wrong with the radio ?
Let's Cruze !!!!

1.) Does anyone know if there are or were any updates to the 2011 stock radio?

There's nothing 'wrong' with it.  I was just curious since the way technology goes these days, I was wondering if possibly there were any changes.  I would like it to work with my iPhone/iPod better.

2.) If there are updates, how does one update it?

3.) Is there a way to stop the voice from saying "call ended"?  Occasionally, if I'm using my phone as a GPS, everytime it gives me a voice prompt to turn or take an exit, it is followed by "call ended".  It's annoying.

4.) Anyone figure out any helpful tips or hints with our radios?

I was just curious...any info or feedback would be great.

I see that this question has been ignored by Chevrolet for more than a year, so I contacted them via online chat. Their response was that software upgrades are handled by the dealer. He then asked for the last 8 digits of my VIN number, and said that my radio (I purchased the car a month ago) was up to date. I hope this helps until somebody official responds.
