Probably illegal in most places if it can be used while the vehicle is in operation.

And the:

12. May I use the Happylightshow in normal traffic situations?

Due to there is no operation license the customer is liable for all risks. We promise failure-free mode with the CE-Certification."

Isn't exactly thrilling.

And my German is way, way to far out of practice to feel good about this:

I don't think I will be rushing buy one.

Oh, it's 100 Euros.  Laughs, no fucking way, sunshine, that's strictly for idiots.

grs1961:

Yes, in Germany we have a law STVO, Straßenverkehrsordnung. That Lightshow should not be used in this area. On private areas it is possible to use this Lightshow...

If you turn on the Lightshow and you will start to drive the module turn off the Lightshow immediately.

All other functions are legal to drive in the area of STVO:
Daytime Running Lights

On-board computer

Parking Assistant

SPEED LOCK

CHIRP

Headlight + Fog Light Function

Hazard-Warning-Signal-Function

Mirror Function

"LEAVING HOME" + "COMING HOME"

The Lightshow is just a gimmick. If you take a look to all the Functions and fun you will have with this module 100€ are not expensive.

The German community Astra H are very happy with this device.

They start threads to buy the Happylightshow to get quantity discount.

§ 3 quantity discount Happylightshow

Amount: 1 10 30 100 Unit price: 99,95€ 89,95€ 75,95€ 59,95€

Greetings to the community

I don't see a useful need for this after seeing the video.  My first impression would be that the car was an un marked

law enforcement or emergency agency resource. If this was used to get my attention from behind I would be anything

but NOT happy.
