Charge the battery. many cars these days do not fully charge the battery to avoid boiling over and corroding the terminals. I plug a charger into my Cruze and Vectra every couple of months to top up the charge. the battery (alternator) voltage should be 14.6 v to fully charge the battery, many cars only charge at 13.6 volts and that is not enough to keep it full.

This of course vary between countries, in colder climates like Scotland may be different.

Typically lead acid batteries last 4-5 years depending on how they are used.

If you bought your car from a dealer take it back and ask him to replace battery with a new one as it sounds like it needs replacing.

Hi Mick, well i pretty much got fobbed off. Guy at the garage started talking in car tech language, told me there was nothing they could do further. I drove for 10secs and it came back on. Went back to the garage and kicked up hell. So far the lights off, hope it stays that way. And thanks so much for asking how i got on mick, much appreciated :)

Flyte, if the light comes back on try taking it to a auto electrician  or to another garage for them to run some test's.

I fixed it Flyte, thank you a lot.

I turned the key all  for 15 seconds when the engine was turned on without to touch clunch or breake or Others things, and it resetted.

Everythign is ok....thank you a lot :)

If you bought your car from a dealer take it back and ask him to replace battery with a new one as it sounds like it needs replacing.
