Dear CruzeDk,

When we remap, without finding all the limiters, its waste of time and money on remap! be assured that we at TDi Racing, we are very much aware of all limiters to tweak!

we certainly can go above 163hp but one need to compromise a lot on fuel consumption with extra smoke! so 163bhp what we found safe and healthy!

regards, :)

I forgot to ask some time ago.

I hope you will answer a few questions :)

How much have you raised the boost, from the standard ~1 bar ?
How much you raised the rail pressure, from the standard 1600 bar ?
How much diesel are you running? (70mg) ?

How about the Lambda?

:)

I got my Cruze VdCi LT tuned on a dyno by the Danish firm Scantune.
It is at completly difrent car to drive and i gained 25HK and 80 nm with focus om my aut. gearbox shifting smothly.
After the modification it shits like a much bigger car.
Beside that i got at better fule rate.

Can recomend it !

When the winter is gone and I get my summer tyres rolling, I plan to go this way:

VTECH

The pricing seems reasonable (495 is the list price) and of course they dyno the car before and after the remap.

Does anybody have experience on their remap services?

Not bad.... so 175hp, and 400nm ???

What where the HK / NM before the map. ? (i know that Scantune does a before/after dyno, so you can compare..maybe you can even scan the results)

(better fuel rate, is because og increased railpressure.....but it wears out the pump faster)

What is 25HK? Please all, use correct abbreviations if you are using them because it puts readers in confused state. It is always best to use full words because readers come from all over the world and level of knowledge. Someone quoted in the same sentence 163hp and 163bhp... they are totally different things.

Another update regarding ECU remap of the Cruze.
Yesterday, i spoke to a couple of tuners.

The real problem with OBD remap of the cruze is, that the current in the OBD plug, drops (out of nowhere) when uploading the file.
Sometimes it happens, other times it does'nt. If it happens = new ECU
Therefore BDM is the only way to go. The skilled guys in this buiness, can disassemble the EDC16 ECU, wiithout leaving a trace.

If you are danish, www.jr-autoteknik.dk can handle the cruze with NO problems. They have made quite some.
The 125hp version lands on ~160hp and ~370nm....not bad.

Hmm , 160 hp for the 125 is in fact pretty poor . Since it is the same engine as the 150 hp it should have the same result as the 150 . At least 180 hp .

CruzeDK has sold his Cruze and moved to BMW world long time ago...

Yes the Diesel boost is 1.4 and max is 1.5. we still have not heard a working tuning option for the diesel, other than remapping on a dyno which only marginally increase the power, they all muck up the DPF.

Hmm . i disagree . Plenty of cruze remapped over here ( wich in my opinion is the only proper way to increase power ) . 185 hp is standar for the 125 / 150 version . 205 is for the 163 version . Also never heard of dpf troubles when remapped by a proper tuner.

Congrats Hangterisaan. Impressive numbers for the 150ps version. What's your fuel consumption now? do you think that everything is as reliable as before? ... by the way, is it auto or manual transmission ?
