Wow 930kms.....
What was your trip computer showing your L/100kms at the time ? And was the 930 kms at the Fill Fuel point ?
When my Fill Fuel display came on it was stating I still had 90 kms of travel left before empty, but too scared to trust it past the fuel fill display.

If the motor was set up properly I would expect something like 6Ltr/100Km. My old Vectra 2.0 L Diesel with 120PS returned 5.4Ltr/100Km on a trip like this, so making allowances for the extra horses of the Cruze, it should be as I suggest. Currently I'm waiting for an actual appointment with the Chevy engineer, who is supposed to take the car for a day sometime this week, to discover why the DPF isn't working as it should and why the local consumption is always around 10Ltr/100Km.

Would not think doing 130km/h on a Freeway (Autobahn) would return good fuel consumption ?

Driving at a constant speed, even if it is 130KpH, is much more economical than driving in town. Just look at the manufacturers claims, in particular the 2.0Litre Cruze Diesel (150PS model). According to Chevrolet, City driving should consume 7.0Litres/100Km, Driving on the open road should bring 4.8 Litres/100Km and a combined figure should bring 5.6Litres/100Km. These figures are much better than my old Vectra which is one of the main reasons I went for this car. The reality of the situation is that the consumption I am experiencing is practically double the claimed figures and I have a right to be upset and angry.
There is such a disparity in the consumption figures published by members on this forum, it makes me wonder about the engineering standard! OK, we can all have different driving styles but I am comparing a GM vehicle with another GM vehicle I owned which produced much better fuel economy in line with what was published for the vehicle. I would therefore expect them to be relative, or to properly inspect the car for faults, which they have now offered to do.

4.8 L/100kms (now that would be nice), even at 100kph down the freeway here it only ever gets down to 5.4-5.5.
Just we can only go 110km/h here and doing 130km/h would put the revs up and mean lower fuel economy.....
BTW - Fuel fill l display came on yesterday so filled the tank (53 Litres to fill it) so 7 litres still left in add that to my 821 kms and will be around the 920km range mark, so trip computer is not that far off as I thought... (6.4L/100kms)

That was back in march this year, I unfortunately can not recall the trip computer figures L/100km I did write down that it was 930km for the 55.5 litres on my fuel docket thats how i recalled, it was way past the fill fuel point.
