Hello from New Zealand, looks like a great forum.

I have a 2013 model year Holden Cruze Sedan 2.0 diesel( Australian  assembled) which I purchased form a dealer on a run out last november , they had them since february 2013

but did not sell and so I got it at 38% discount.

it has the later diesel engine 2.0 L (1,998 cc) VCDi (GM

Great car, goes well and I understand the DPF burn thing!!!

Over the last three weeks the Service vehicle light flicks on for 2-3 seconds and goes out  (car symbol with the little spanner inside). both times when I was on a bumpy road???

once three weeks ago at about 2700 km and I got it serviced (3000 km) and it did it the day after the service, Both times no error code but the second time it seemed to lose power for 1-2 seconds and then come right, would anyone have any ideas what is happening???

Thanks in advance

I would go back to where you had it serviced and asked them to check all the wiring connections as it sounds as if one of them is loose. ie:Alternator.

Agreed, sounds like a loose wire somewhere.

I would check that the engine oil is at the correct level. Loose wires may be a reason in older cars but a new car, unlikely, although a relief if the problem is only that small.

also check all the fluid levels, window wash, brake fluid, power steering, coolant.
