Hello Emt150159,

Apologies for our late response, however, I just wanted to check in to see if you are still experiencing this acceleration concern. If you haven't made your dealership aware yet, I'd be happy to assist you in setting up a service appointment to get this checked out. Please send us a private message if you are interested in assistance.

Sincerely,

Chelsea D.

Inam having so much trouble with my Cruse! I havehad import cars my whole life and this car has given me nothing but trouble! I bought it from a one person owner / dealership at 69K. It drove fine for the firsttwo weeks. First my tirepressure was messed up! Got it fixed now my tires are always uneven. I have to inflate them all the time then now when i turn on the heat it smells burnt. I have very slow acceleration my caris held bqvk and it seems like i have no power at all!

I would suggest that if the car feels slow, take a stopwatch and an empty flat road and clock the acceleration both ways. If it is much longer than the advertsed time then there is something wrong, otherwise it is normal. acceleration is a very subjective fact, it is what one feels is good enough.

I estimate acceleration in terms of power to weight ratio. a car that weighs 1400kg and has 140kw of power will give an acceptable acceleration. in that example there is one kw of power dragging 10kg of weight.

Not sure what engine is in your Cruze but 100kw of power dragging 1460kg of weight is not going to give much of a thrill.
