Is there a recall for the Valve Cover? Mine needs to be replaced, but every dealership says they are on backorder.  I was told by one dealership that over 100 people are waiting on them right now.

I have a 2011 Chevy Cruze.

Nobody replied, but I know it is covered under powertrain warranty. Just like you, mine is expired and I need it fixed as well. GM let me down on this issue, usually they own up to their mistakes but they are pretty quiet here. It is a safety issue too as the car can lose power and die while driving.

it is not necessary to Change the valve cover Assembly. I used the repair kit on the advice of friends, changed the membrane. Look here https://vanos-bmw.co...ase-ventilation

Check the number on your valve cover. :)
