The design for the coolant system is absolutely disastrous. We had them tow the car in because it was overheating. They said they had to fix the water pump. It's still under warranty so it didn't cost us a thing. When I arrived at home I noticed it was still leaking antifreeze. We took it back to them because it was also surging at stop lights. At one point we thought we were rear-ended, but it was just the car. They checked it for us and said it had a leak in the valve cover and a leak in the recovery tank hose. They said they were going to charge me $99 to tell me the hose was leaking, plus $228 to fix it. Why this high beats me, because it takes 5 minutes to change. Anyway, They fixed the valve leak, but I chose to buy a hose and fix that myself. Guess what? It's still leaking. Now the engine is rattling and has a definite knock coming from the engine. This overheating has messed up this engine. I'm about to lose my freaking mind. Tomorrow I am going to call my Attorney General and let them know that these cars are lemons. The design for the water pump housing is flawed. It will always leak. It's not a good idea to use plastic for something that has a constant flow of hot coolant flowing through it. Sadly, this was my daughters first car.
