Just a FYI if you ever have your wipers act funky then they stop in the middle or no longer work but you can hear the motor running. My Cruze wipers did stop then reset in middle of the windshield. So I took the wipers off and then took off the top cover below windshield and what I noticed was the nut on the motor housing that goes to the transmission rods was loose. I was able to run the wipers without the blades so the motor can park in the correct place. Then I tighten the nut really well then put all the piece together. Perfect!! But in some cases your transmission rod has little grooves in it and if they get stripped you will need to replace that part.
