  • Interests:My car started overheating about a week ago, the mileage is right around 60k. We took it in and they replaced the thermostat and some hoses but now it has started to overheat again. We have it at a dealership and they are saying that if it is the water pump then the warranty may not cover it. Can someone explain the terms of a bumper to bumper warranty? Also would anyone happen to know if there have been any recalls for this issue, I see a ton of posts with people with the same make/ model and yr with the same issue. Thank you for your help.

I have a 2015 Chevy Cruz with 64k miles. 2 weeks ago it overheated and they replaced the thermostat. Today it overheated again and now they are replacing the water pump. I have read allot of posts with the same problems for this make and model, does anyone know if there have been any over heating recalls? Also can anyone tell me if there is coverage in the 100k mike warranty that covers water pump and thermostat?
