Gudday all, Cruze been a consistent top 6 seller since its second month on sale over here. The diesel gets pretty good wraps so thats what i went with. We only get the 110 kw (150hp). I added 18" alloys off the Captiva (same stud pattern...), tints, roof racks, towbar, bluetooth and thinking about a chip... any ideas??

G`day James we`ve ordered bluetooth ,are the controls on the steering wheel or on the microphone the reason i ask is that details from holden arn`t very clear.also how is your radio reception i`ve noticed that they have gone from an inbuilt antenna to a roof mounted one,i wonder what other little changes they will make before May when ours arrives.

cheers David

Yeh the controls are on the mic on mine, its a GM bluetooth. The volume is controlled with the stereo volume. Radio is fine no dramas at all. Did you get the Diesel? Its great, except for no power below 1300rpm. Fine below that on the open road. 1300 is about 80km/h and it keeps it fine on cruise control. Now got over 12000k's and getting a consistent 6.3 l/100km with the A/C on and in northern beaches of sydney area (hilly). HAppy with that.

Are you aware of the GM Korean recall for faulty fuel lines car Nos AK550595 to AK 599629 mine is No. 582646 but Chev UK say mine is not effected ? My Diesel Cruze 2.0 LT auto only got 29.5 mpg for 300 miles mixed motoring. I find the plastic is total rubbish and am disappointed that the UK version does not include the Watts Z linkage.

The diesel cruze is not affected by the recall in Australia. Yeh the plastics are hard, id also say that they are hard wearing, certainly they will go better in the Australian sun than other softer plastics will. The other thing i thought when i was shelling out my cash for the cruze is in Australia it is only 2/3 the price of say a VW Jetta. I cant expect the same materials if your only paying 2/3rd the price i figured.

Had my Diesel "manual" Cruze since March, averaging 6.2L / 100kms (45 MPG) mixed motoring over 5000 kms.

5.5L / 100kms (51 MPG) the first day driving it for 2 hours after leaving the showroom, driving down the Motorway (Cruise Control at 110 km/h) ....

Am getting 850kms out of its (50 Litre Tank)

Internal Plastic is annoying as it does mark pretty easily, but for the money, is an awesome car.

But I do not see why all this whining over the handling, the handling is great and the comfort is excellent. I think the suspension works just fine the way it is......

Have fitted Alloys and a Spoiler to it (just for show), nothing expensive......... And they are just 16inch Alloys, but still look great IMO !!
